Terms and Conditions of Service relating to access to the Editage subdomain: http://editage.dovepress.com/, herein referred to as "Editage", via www.dovepress.com.

• Editage will endeavour at all times to protect the privacy and confidentiality of all users of Editage.
• All publishing rights for documents/materials/text produced or edited by Editage shall remain with the customer.
• While revisions and/or corrections made by Editage may affect the length of the document/material/text submitted, all service fees will be based on the total number of words in the original document submitted.
• Editage shall not be held liable for any plagiarism, breach of copyright, illegal use of intellectual property or other unlawful act relating to material submitted to us by the customer.
• Editage reserves the right to refuse its services and shall not be obliged to give reasons for such. Documents containing unethical and/or illegal material may lead to the loss of the right to confidentiality.
• While Editage takes all necessary precautions to safeguard all submitted documents, it shall not be held liable for the loss of documents due to power failure, hardware/software failure, computer viruses, natural disasters, or any other unforeseen circumstance. Customers are responsible for backing up all documents prior to submission to Editage.
• Payment for all services must be received within 7 days of the release of the completed document unless otherwise agreed.
• This Editage subdomain of the www.dovepress.com website is owned and operated by Editage and is protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute in any way, any material from this subdomain, including code and software. You may download material from this subdomain for your personal, non–commercial use only, provided you keep intact all copyright and other proprietary notices.
• Editage may, in its sole and absolute discretion, immediately terminate service, should the client’s conduct fail to conform to the terms and conditions of our service.
• The validity, interpretation, construction, and performance of these Terms and Conditions of Service shall be governed by the laws of India. In all other matters relating to the www.dovepress.com website the laws of New Zealand shall apply.
• These Terms and Conditions of Service and any disclaimers, as well as the subdomain itself, may be modified, amended, or updated by Editage at any time without notice, provided that any modification, amendment, or update to the Terms and Conditions of Service will not be retrospectively applicable. The Terms and Conditions of Service in place at the time any document is submitted to Editage, are those which shall apply to that particular submission or submissions.
• By using this subdomain, the client agrees to be bound by all of the terms and conditions of Editage’s service. Should the client object to any such terms and conditions or any subsequent modifications thereto or become dissatisfied with the site in any way, the client’s sole recourse is to discontinue his/her use of the subdomain.
• By accessing Editage via www.dovepress.com customers and users expressly agree and acknowledge that Dove Medical Press Limited is in no way liable to users of the Editage Services for any loss or damage incurred or suffered, whether directly, indirectly or consequentially, as a result of such access, and further agree to indemnify Dove Medical Press Limited absolutely against any loss or damage incurred or suffered as a result of the customers access to Editage.
